We use an effective surfactant system to cleanse, protect the skin barrier, and leave no irritating residue. It leaves no residue, doesn’t penetrate the skin, and leaves lipids intact. It gets rid of everything you don’t want and protects everything you do.
A barrier-first cleanser
Tabula Rasa is completely skin barrier safe. It’s made with amino acid based surfactants that degrade naturally, adding hydration without leaving any residue.
Irritation-free engineering
HASE (hydrophobically modified alkali-soluble emulsion) technology stabilizes the formulation, preventing surfactants from breaking down into smaller molecules that could irritate skin.
Limited addition
A lot of brands add extra, fancy-sounding ingredients to cleansers that instantly wash off the skin. We’re not into that. We use only what we need, no fillers, and no scents.

- 5% Betaine to hydrate and soothe skin.
