Our skin takes a beating every day: sun exposure, environmental stress, and inflammation lead to spots, roughness and wrinkles in our skin (even if you don't see them right away). Over time, these accumulate, leading to rough, dull and wrinkled skin. Prevention is key: using sunscreen and Vitamin X daily can set you up for healthier-looking skin for a long time.
Start by using a small amount in the morning after washing your face. Let it sit on the skin until it is about to dry, then proceed with your routine. It is common for acidic products like Vitamin X to sting during the first three uses, so use only half a pump to get your skin acclimatized. Keep using it for two weeks, then increase your use to twice a day for best results.
Antioxidant serums should be viewed as mainly preventative, so they take a long time to show results. Many people notice an immediate brightening effect with Vitamin X, but we consider this a bonus effect! We are looking for a long-lasting skin brightness that can only be achieved by prevention. What comes easy won't last, and what lasts won't come easy. Stick to it for at least three months, and you'll start to see the best results.
